Tuesday
By Don Iannone

Tuesday morning, my world is quiet,
Hazy sunrise, no technicolor riot.
Heavy air, thick as water,
Butchered poem, what a slaughter.
Looking out, looking in,
Don't waste this day, what a sin.
Looks like rain, no not again!
Dampened hopes, just can't win.
Dreamy music, I lose my grip,
Off in time, my mind does slip.
This poem is done, I must go,
I hope my first appointment doesn't show.

Sure am glad I lit upon this site of yours. Nice job. Hey, this poem sounds like you might be an unhappy man. There is a cure: JESUS! Now don't get me wrong. I'm not forcing nothing on nobody.

Son, remmeber this scripture: "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. "For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through Him.

Praise be Him. I hope you don't take no offense at any of this. Our church says we should dialog with folks on the internet and help them see that God is an option in their lives. I'm 77 years old. I been around the world. Hey this ain't about me. This is about Jesus our Lord. Praise His Holy Name.

God bless you Dan.

Sincerely,

Harlan C. Riebe

PS: Hope this works. Sometimes I type all this stuff in these boxes, hit the daggone button and it don't so nothing. Finally figured out this word thing you have to do to get your message to show up. Any idea why they do that? Oh well, I'm not complaining. Afterall the Good Lord has blessed my life profusely.

One final thing. My son Walter got me this computer and he writes poetry too. Do you suppose he could start up one of these here bloogs like you have? Can he call it anything he wants? You picked a nice name. Conscouis Living. I like that. I like conscuios. Before Jesus walked into my life I was in a total haze. Not my mind is free. Blessed be His Name.

Harlan,

Thank you for visiting Conscious Living. It's very kind of you to share your thoughts. You are welcome any time.

You're doing great for 77. I am impressed. My Dad is 84 and has a computer, but is fearful of going onto the Internet because he thinks someone might get his personal information. I respect that though.

Your son can setup a "blog" at this address: http://www.blogger.com If he has any questions, please ask your son to email me: diannone@ix.netcom.com

Feel free to stop back.

Blessings to you,

Don
