Mountaintop Haiku
By Don Iannone

1
high above the world
a place to look up and down
you are the looker

2
at the top thin air
practice nondoing today
save even your breath

3
climbing the mountain
life above and below you
the moment greets you

Don..I am the first one this time. Its actually quite a challenge to keep up with your posts. You seem to be a writing machine.

Your 3rd Haiku is very positive, who knows if there really is life above and if there is any left below you.

Its beautiful though.'You are the looker', 'Practice nondoing today' 'The moment greets you' were my favourites

Thank you for the elegant simplicity of your carpe re'diem'er.
I really enjoyed this 'hike'up the mountain.

You are quite the 'looker' yourself big fella..or did you mean look before you leap.

I find that the people 'at the top' are usually full of HOT air.

Today is Saturday and I have every intention of practicing the 'nondoing'.

ciao.

You are the looker and the looked. You are the landscape which is outside and inside of you. In truth there is only one landscape. And you are that.

Indeed Imemine...each of us is that.
