Summer Haiku
By Don Iannone

1
budding new flower
midday sun cradles the child
summer joy springs forth

2
watching the watcher
shadows fall where there was light
darkness calls the night

3
sweet bird sings freely
a new morning has broken
darkness swept away

Those are nice pieces Don, very 'moody' in a good way, very 'intimate' sort of.
