Summer Haiku
By Don Iannone

1
in warm sun she sleeps
outstretched, her golden fur shines
curled tail circles life

2
soft falling raindrops
warm tears of laughter appear
all part of the flow

3
her palm touches his
his lips and hers gently brush
moon-lit night and love

Wonderful Don... what was it you said... "sometimes I think people are just poems...waiting to be born and released..." yes!

Indeed Kathleen...each of us is just "that."

I dont like most of the haikus that I come across on the web, I am not a haiku person, but I must say that I like yours.

David...welcome back to Conscious Living and thank you for syaing that. Just back from a trip over to your poetry blogs. Got a visual image from reading your work. It was this: "Powerful images you paint with your heart on this page."

Imemine...thank you.
