Fixin' to Mend
By Don Iannone

Broken hearts,
like old fences weathered apart,
need mending.
Healing begins
with a caring look,
followed by time
and steady hands,
that patiently touch
with the tenderness
of early autumn leaves.

a lovely balm for any broken heart...

hmmmm... makes me think of how many broken hearts are wandering this earth plane... and where does it all begin...

is the "i" separation itself the true broken heart... from whence the "other" arises...?

the root of relationship itself is creating joining out of "seeming" separation... and the play continues...even when separation is seen through...; like magnets... we join... we can't help ourselves! because we are already one... wow... what a dance...!

Thanks Renee. Glad you liked it.

Thanks Kathleen. It is an amazing dance. Wonderful questions and observations. We suffer because we want the world to be something other than it is. We ALL do it, and it hurts. So...we continue to remind ourselves and our friends remind us...and we get past what has held us. Until then, an extended hand of kindness and compassion is always so appreciated. Blessings Kathleen.
