Daily Dharma

"as a flower blown out by the wind
goes to rest and cannot be defined
so the wise man freed from individuality
goes to rest and cannot be defined.
gone beyond all images-
gone beyond the power of words"

The flower, you and I are meant to get consumed Don, for what purpose I do not know. We can see the immediate purpose but not the ultimate purpose of it all. Freedom from individuality is beyond existence.

Thanks Kathleen. No word from Dan yet. Maybe soon.

Thanks Rauf. Indeed it is Rauf. Put on your goggles and fasten your seatbelt,

It's not possible in this life. Every human being is an individual. This means total annihilation of personality. Even "enlightened beings" including the Buddha didn't achieve that when he was alive.

We can only point toward the path. We cannot explain it or truly relate it to another. Thanks for posting Don!
