Sedona Rainbow
Dedicated to Mary
By Don Iannone

The rain will fall so love it all
In the distance, wild birds call,
You, like a magical rainbow, appear
Bringing undying hope and good cheer,
Days and night blur happy as larks
Soaring high leave their marks,
High school melodies sweet to the touch
Never one I've loved so much,
Eagerly await each precious moment we share
Nothing much else do we care,
Sixteen years together we've been
Never a better time, I can't think when,
Ahead we think, but today we live
More and more we have to give,
On this 24th day of June you shall always be
A Sedona rainbow just for me.

Very nice. Who wouldn't want to be someone's rainbow?

Mike...thanks. Life is to be shared. When we do, especially with someone special, the sky seems to be always filled with rainbows.

Very beautiful like everything you write Don. It's like 'magic' where you become silent.

And this special one does me remind of something G-d said to Noah, namely that He will remember His people whenever there is a rainbow in the sky. By telling it the world in the time of Noah to Noah, He also meant and said it to every person worldwide, Jew and gentile.

And that's a very interesting reminder to know, if man only now could understand its depth within the right context. Then all of humankind would have for always their rainbow in their heart.

Bernadette,

Thanks for stopping by and leaving this wonderful comment. Rainbows are special in so many ways. Water paints the sky with color...

I guess love comes naturally. And we don't need to suppress if the right one comes along.

Thanks Samuru99. Actually I think everyone is a rainbow in their true nature. It's just sometimes the clouds cover up part of color.
