A Metaphysical Approach to Creating Affluence

A stands for all possibilities, absolute, authority, affluence, and abundance. The true nature of our ground state and that of the universe is that it is a field of all possibilities. In our most primordial form, we are a field of all possibilities.

From this level it is possible to create anything. This field is our own essential nature. It is our inner self.

It is also called the absolute, and it is the ultimate authority. It is intrinsically affluent because it gives rise to the infinite diversity and abundance of the universe.

Deepak,
We shouldn't deny it; we all want abundance and prosperity.
But does having abundance mean depriving someone else of the prime necessities of life? When is enough enough?
My opinion is people who preach material abundance shouldn't preach spiritual enlightenment. Reminds me of prosperity consciousness of the some Pentecostals.
well, I'm for material prosperity for everyone, and if possible spiritual enlightenment too.

Imemine,

I was waiting for someone to raise this issue. Thank you Imemine. I respect the view you've put forward.

Personally, I don't think material and spiritual success have to be separate. I used to, but discovered that I was habouring feelings of unworthiness and low self-esteem when I denounced material wealth.

Frankly, I practice some of the ideas Deepak Chopra talks about in this book. Have for a long time. Actually I think most of us do in one way or another. It's about putting our intentions out there and letting the universe deliver what we need. We don't always get what we want, nor should we. As the song goes, we hopefully get what we need.

I have worked in economic development for over 30 years. So, I know something about wealth creation by individuals, businesses, and communities. I'm a well-trained gun fighter in this world. I'm convinced that many people, businesses, and communities struggle financially because they unconsciously sabotage themselves with "poverty complexes." One of the things I do in my work is help the leadership of communities and organizations become more aware of what they carry around inside and how that influences what happens outside.

I would add that we should use whatever material wealth we have carefully and in a way that helps others. The only reason I can write poetry and operate Conscious Living is because I do make a good living doing what I do.

I grew up poor materially and had to work through that to reach a balanced view of money and other values in life. Money is not #1 for me by any stretch, but it is important to me.

Anyway, I would love to hear others' ideas on this interesting subject.

Thanks.

Don
