Plunge in Wonder
By Don Iannone

Mandala by Mandala Visions

Wonder often,
Wonder wide,
Wonder further,
Never hide.
Never cease
to be amazed,
Delve deeper,
Delve wide.
Plunge the depths
for there to find
the truth you seek.
In stillness, there abide.

THAT WHICH YOU ARE SEEKING IS CAUSING YOU TO SEEK...

the true value of Wonder is a joy ... a gift from God unto man. The reason for the gift is because of God's Love and beauty for within wonder ... is the whisper and the call to knowledge ... the very key to man's awareness of God.
And Don, you have placed this in beautiful unfolding words.
I have been honoured to read this evening.
hugs for you.

Hi Don! You know what really strikes me about this one? The change of pace. The poem has this speed, from the short lines and rhyme scheme, which slows briefly when you start hitting the 'D' section ("Delve"), but then picks back up only to grind to a slow-motion finale with "In stillness there abide."

Nice work!

Meditating, communing with silence, then hearing a whisper with the purity of white light. ^_^ Thank you for the calming words, Don. (Enjoyed reading comments above by Tim and Mike, too.)

Cheers.

Such sychronicities amaze me! Just created a blog and was searching for it (mandala visions) and here is one of my paintings! Did you know it's name is "Inner Depths?" Lovely poem - the two are meant for each other. Aaaah.. how we are all connected in the Mystery. Thanks for the reminder.
