Feelings: A Poetic Tribute
By Don Iannone

Butterflies...

not the sort in gardens.

Angst...

not exactly normal pain.

Frustration...

beyond the normal level.

Dealing...

a long ways from a Las Vegas card table.

Hope...

more than the usual dose.

Great montage. Done with a feeling…
The last one reminds me of Mount Triglav, the highest mountain in Slovenia, one of our national symbols. Triglav means The Three-Headed One, because of appearing as three peaks, the highest surrounded by two which are a bit lower. According to Matej Bor, the late Slovenian poet who deciphered the script of the Venetes (an ancient people - most of archaeological finds are from Northern Italy) with the help of Slovenian, the language of Slovenians, who are believed (by some:)) to be their descendants, Triglav comes from the Venetian word Trimuzhyad, meaning Three Men, and used to be a powerful local divinity more than two thousand years ago.

Thanks Bout for your comments and making me aware of Mount Triglav. This is a commercial stock photo of Mt. Everest. Mountains are amazingly powerful, ain't they?

Thanks Andrew. Your kids at school sent me the picture of you. LOL.
