In the Swing
By Don Iannone

Gentle star-kissed night.
Lulling summer breeze.
Faint lilac scents drifting...
across the yard.
Rocking...
back and forth
in the front porch swing of life.

I can feel the swing swaying gently in the breeze, carrying me along in deep reverie. Thanks, as always. ...Z

I was here reading your poem on the swing and I was amazed by it and then as I opened the comments box I realized I already read it but still I was more touched by it

Love, this! We bought our home because of the view to the woods from the back porch swing.
