Shadow Truths
By Don Iannone

In ancient shadows find,
the sacred and sublime,
where darkness reveals the light,
the heart sees with perfect sight,
without the one, there is no other,
seek the truth without cover,
walk the path where shadows fall,
learn to walk it very tall,
the shadows tell what sun light hides,
for there too truth abides.

Thanks Ghost Particle and Dumbdodi. There is also light in the dark. Sometimes we must be that light.

Thanks Pat and Margie...rhyming poems feel good some times, but I don't write them often. Hate to feel wedded to a rhyme if it sacrifices the message.
