Shadow Truths
By Don Iannone
In ancient shadows find,
the sacred and sublime,
where darkness reveals the light,
the heart sees with perfect sight,
without the one, there is no other,
seek the truth without cover,
walk the path where shadows fall,
learn to walk it very tall,
the shadows tell what sun light hides,
for there too truth abides.

'Learn to walk it very tall'...is a very good message. Thank you
hemm...seeking...answers, truth and memories.
Thanks Ghost Particle and Dumbdodi. There is also light in the dark. Sometimes we must be that light.
Excellent poem Don!
Enlightening!
Very good rhyming poem!!
Thanks Pat and Margie...rhyming poems feel good some times, but I don't write them often. Hate to feel wedded to a rhyme if it sacrifices the message.
how can one appreciate light if they haven't experienced darkness... good one!
Polona...thanks. I believe this is true.
