God
By Don Iannone

Beyond whatever
...we think.
Not separate from us.
Everything and nothing.
An ever-present idea
...that we cling to.

ingenous poem Don. In a temporal world, one needs an eternal friend.

I believe in everything and nothing ... and I am never surprise by either.

Jim,

Thanks for sharing that. Trees know so much. They know us sometimes better than we know ourselves.

Liquidplastic,

Don't you like to surprised at times' pleasantly surprised that is. I do! Poetry is full of surprises. You never know how a poem will turn out when you start writing it and you never know the impact it will have on you until after you finish reading the entire thing.

Don I love poetry, and yes, I would love to be "pleasantly surprise" -- alas I am still waiting to experience it. Indeed, I am not surprise that I enjoy your poetry because it speaks to what I feel for the most part. Its thought provoking, and refreshingly simple in its complexity --- I am delighted though.

Beautiful in its simplicity, Don.
