yellow goldfinches
feverishly feed on thistle
sprightly sweet voices
rise like the ocean tide
clouds hitchhike across the sky

Note: Don's first taiga

Don, this is good!

If I might make one sugggestion, it would be to change "rising" to "rises".

You did a wonderful job on this one! Spring and so much more captured in five lines!

Whoops! I mean, "rise", not "rises". :)

Don, I love it!! I feed these boogers 10#'s of thistle a week. Small price to have them around.

and like floots, i'm quite amazed to see your goldfinches are from the european birds.
