An old man approaches
the park bench,
armed with a single daffodil.

The old woman
blushes and...
pretends to look surprised.

Her radiant smile says volumes...
about the flower,
the man, and Springtime.

The two sit quietly together,
knowing...it will always be
Springtime in their hearts.
