With Gentle Strokes She Paints
By Don Iannone

Fall hints
of her coming,
touching the leaves
with gentle strokes of color,
not unlike the painter
who starts out shy,
not knowing exactly where
her heart will carry the brush.
The masterpiece is complete, only when
her heart is full from giving.

One of the things about fall that I love is the colored leaves. Wonderful!

Lovely idea of yours linking a shy painter with the fall.

Its amazing how poetry brushes more emotion ...the music that comes with poetic melody

Such a beautiful melody of transition. That transition time in between summer and fall. You have captured it brilliantly, as you always do with your words of magic.

Blessings of peace and love to you, Don.
