Things We Depend Upon
By Don Iannone

Were it not
for morning poetry,
I may not see the magic
in my life.
Were it not
for the music in my soul,
I might lose
my poetic verse.
Were it not
for love,
I would surely
lose truly who I am.

Thank you for that wonderful poem Don! Each word has so much meaning to me.... and especially these words!
Were it not
for love
I would surely
lose truly who I am.

Thanks Angela and Margie. Much appreciated. I guess it is an ode. Hadn't imagined that when I wrote it, but it is...

So beautiful. If it were not for my daily dose of Don, I would not smile as much.

Don,

This takes my breath away. I missed three of your entries due to my negligence to refresh the page. When it occurred to me that you never go that long in between posts and hit refresh, this jumped off the screen at me. I am speechless. Pure joy.

Blessings to you!

My Life is not my life without the people I depend upon. I will be nothing without them. I could really relate to this one
