Daniel R. Thompson:
One Whose Words Spoke Volumes

Daniel R. Thompson, a Cleveland poet, who
promoted poetry as a performing art, died
yesterday. Thompson was well known in area
poetry circles for his lyrical and compassionate
way of being. May his words live on!

From his: The Night Season

And you
Coming from the dark
Standing by the window
In your room
Are part
Of a string of hearts
Wishing a shower
Of shooting stars
Would bloom
Like thousands
Of flowers
For peace.
