Thursday Thought: Achieve Don't Compete
Boy, did I need to hear this message. It cuts to the
heart of my consulting work with clients. It's not
about competing per se, rather achieving. I guess
that is why I have moved in the direction of helping
my clients become more performance-based, as
opposed to becoming more competitive.
"Competition is a by-product of productive work,
not its goal. A creative man is motivated by the
desire to achieve, not by the desire to beat others."
