Thursday Thought: Believe in the Heroic

On one level or another, all of us have
"heroes." Your heroes could be Mom and
Dad, a teacher, sports coach, spiritual
leader, best friend, lover, a politician,
and yes even a pet.

At times we need to believe in heroes;
actually we need to believe in the very
idea of the heroic. I like this quote:

"Nurture your mind with great thoughts;
to believe in the heroic makes heroes."
