understanding the continuum...

"There is no well-defined boundary between honesty and dishonesty. The frontiers of one blend with the outside limits of the other, and he who attempts to tread this dangerous ground may be sometimes in one domain and sometimes in the other." ~O. Henry, Rolling Stones, 1912

Only truth is true.

Everyone knows when they are being less than totally honest.

Blessings.

Holyinheritance,

Thanks for stopping by conscious living. Your comment is appreciated.

On one level, i believe you are right that people know when they are or are not being totally honest. This is the simpliest level of honesty, which is judged by whether we are being honest based upon our values, beliefs, information, and knowledge.

There is a deeper level of honesty, and in fact two deeper levels according to the Chinese philospher Confucius. If you want to hear what Conficius has to say, click on this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honesty

I visited your two websites briefly. There is a lot of heart there.

Best wishes,
