The founder of the American Yoga Society once told her guru she was having trouble recognizing the truth. He answered: "Truth can be tasted. It is sweet. I have used this test for many years now.” With this guideline, we can know that if there is not some sweetness to a thing (a thought, a deed, a word), it is not the truth.
