One to ponder...

"It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new. But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful. There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power."

True. Oftentimes, we refuse to let go of what's safe and familiar until we are certain that the next rung on the monkey bars is as secure as the one we hold on to now. Although there is wisdom in this cautious thinking, it can still be said that meaning and purpose sometimes wanes when we stay on someting for far too long.

Nothing is more certain than change...and the willingness to accept it is courage in itself
