Conceptual Trickery
By Don Iannone
Truth,
laid more bare
than the naked sun
with no clouds,
found us capsized
in an ocean of lies.
Reality,
without distinction
or separation,
found us struggling
with truths and lies.
Of the two,
I'll take reality
at a moment's notice.
