Autumn Day in Cleveland
By Don
Noisy rambunctious bluejay,
bouncing frantically limb to limb,
golden sunlight streaks through treetops,
warming my inquisitive face
pressed against the window,
a single red maple leaf lets go
of her need to hold on,
Autumn day in Cleveland,
happiness is comfortably within reach today.
