Destiny's Call
By Don Iannone

Steadfast in your unshakeable self-belief,
Don't deny yourself your place in the sun,
Let go of whatever holds you back,
Follow the voice that calls.

Guard rails are for those resisting
the bountiful rewards of risk,
Replace your fear with love,
Follow the voice that calls.

Step past the weak branches in your tree,
Grasp its trunk and climb to the top--
of the world where your dreams live,
Follow the voice that calls.

Race in the direction your heart shines,
High above the North Star beckons,
Stretch your wings and fly,
Follow the voice that calls.

  4. Thanks Angela, Andrew, Jim, Margie, and NYC Taxi Shots. Much appreciated.

Andrew...I do a good bit of public speaking as a matter of fact. Not motivation...but maybe in the future. Thanks for your compliment.

    Blessings to all.

  11. rush to the future,
    the one future,
    never ending,
    never nearing,
    walk fast,
    live your destiny,
    the end matters nothing,
    the start is your joy,
    the endurance is your character.

  17. "Replace your fear with love".
Nice sentence, but, you know, an ended love can cause the worst of the fears.
