Flowering Spirit Guides
By Don Iannone
...In the still morning air
......I am one
.........with the flowers
............in spring bloom
...............calling out
...................with resonating voices
.......................reminding us
..........................to seek
..............................beyond gravity's reach
..................................and beyond
......................................anything we can imagine.
Nice! LOOKS NICE, TOO!
ReplyDeleteWhy thank you Dan! Indeed such beauty in all of us...
ReplyDeleteLove this!! Especially "imagine"!

Hi Don, this one is really good. I like how you use the phrase "beyond gravity's reach" and how the increasing left margin visually reinforces the transcendence of gravity--the poem is overcoming the strength of gravity pulling down on it, to extend horizontally.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mike. This physical structure just felt right for the poem's message. I think you're rght.
ReplyDeleteWe are one with everything Don good and bad, one with every atom of the universe.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully composed. Thank you Don.
Rauf...thank you. Cherish the oneness everpresent in the universe. It's there for all of us.
ReplyDeleteImagine away the allergies - thanks for soulful healing.
ReplyDeleteIndeed Bradford. Away they fly like the butterflies.
ReplyDeleteBeyond the imagination is creation, beyond creation is imagination --- wow, you are smoking! <----- smoking is a slang, meaning it's all good!
ReplyDeleteAmias...thank you! At times I am smoking as you say. It's all about the flow, and the poetry is flowing.
