Don't you like to surprised at times' pleasantly surprised that is. I do! Poetry is full of surprises. You never know how a poem will turn out when you start writing it and you never know the impact it will have on you until after you finish reading the entire thing.
Don I love poetry, and yes, I would love to be "pleasantly surprise" -- alas I am still waiting to experience it. Indeed, I am not surprise that I enjoy your poetry because it speaks to what I feel for the most part. Its thought provoking, and refreshingly simple in its complexity --- I am delighted though.
I like the first three sentences very much.
ReplyDeleteThanks Rob.
ReplyDeleteingenous poem Don. In a temporal world, one needs an eternal friend.
ReplyDeleteI believe in everything and nothing ... and I am never surprise by either.
ReplyDeleteJim,
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing that. Trees know so much. They know us sometimes better than we know ourselves.
Liquidplastic,
